I'm not saying I would have done any different but...
... is it just me or would standing up and yelling have scared that lion off just as easily ir not easier? I'm just thinking out loud but it seems as if he took the oppertunity to shoot him a lion... Would seem to me that would be a last resort if there was only a mere second to act or yelling, screaming etc. didn't deter it.

Not saying I wouldn't have too, just playing devil's advocate here...

Not all lions are scared of yelling or someone waving there hands, espically if they aint eaten in a while If it would have been my buddy that took the shot I would have thanked him

like I said, not saying I wouldn't have done the same thing... it just struck me as odd that he had the time to watch it, then it turned away, and then came back and he didn't even TRY yelling or alerting it to his pressence... Just seems odd to me that he didn't try yelling, flailing arms etc. Heck, if for no other reason than to yell at his buddy, "there's a lion stalking you"... just curious is all... I'm not a cat hugger.
