To heck with borrowin' your camera, can I just borrow the spot where you saw these guys?
I was raised in Wyoming, and I haven't seen a muley since the last time I went to visit my Mom last year; these pics kinda make me nostalgic! Those are great photographs. I hope you don't mind if I say why I think they are good: the subject (the bucks in this case) are in perfect focus; the background is complementary in that it kinda blends in and adds to the picture and doesn't distract from it; the lighting is good in all of these, it's natural and not too bright; the colors are great; and you have good compositions. Even the ones with the barbed wire fence in them look great. For anybody who has waatched a nice buck on the other side of a fence, this just brings back memories because that's exactly what it looks like. Excellent photos, they make you feel like you're standing right there watching those bucks! I'm impressed!

Very nice shots of some great deer Saskman. Nice poses. They don't seem too shy. I guess they know the difference between a rifle and a camera. Nice and sharp. The lens quality really shows. How much telephoto on these?

I was using a 75-300mm IS lens on the 10D. These photos were taken at 300mm.
