I love shooting warthogs and although I have never shot a real monster Vark I have taken a few nice ones. Here are the five biggest So far. I would travel to anyplace in Southern Africa for the chance at a real monster Warthog!

When I lived in Senegal there was a man who absolutely loved hunting them pigs. Whenever he would kill one we would take the hair from its back and make nouse traps for the wild partraige and guinea foul that lived where we did. Worked great, the hair is as tough as horse mane if not more. We still to this day have some of the tusks, much like the ones you posted.

Years ago I read an interesting (I thought) article in an old Shooters Bible where an experienced hunter took a M94 Win. in 30-30 and hunted some of Africas smaller game. I still remember the picture of him and his Win. with a good size warthog. Did the job...
