Great looking set Grumpy, some nice character! Were you shedding when you found them, or were they stumbled upon? If you've been shedding for 15 years, you probably have an entire collection to share. Slow time of the year on this thread, feel free to post more of your shed pics. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks guys,I had lots of pics of my collection, but I lost them all when a hard drive went south.I do have a pic of our "wall of fame" at our camp.Where all my sheds are and alot of decent racks are hanging.I'll post it as soon as I clear something up.As for when I found them,I was just out 4 wheeling, they were lying a foot apart, and 100 feet away was 1 shed from the same buck from the year before. This put me in the rigt area and I think that I have since found some 80 sheds.
Iknow its the wrong time too hunt sheds but would like to start? Where do you look and what time of the year do you look? Is there certain spots to look? Iam greenhorn and want to learn.
Daworz,
I don't know where you live, but here in Ontario the best time to go out is right after the snow's gone.I've found sheds in all different types of areas, but mostly next to stands of cedar. But check everywhere!
Lienies is right, this section of the forum is a bit slow right now but was super fun during peak shed hunting season (March,April,May).
Eventhough shed hunting is not at the top of the list these days, I'll never get tired of looking at new pics and hearing some good shed experiences from other guys!
