My Big Md. Set From Last Spring

I've got an official score on the big set I found last shed season.The right antler scored 81 5/8's and the left antler scored 83 1/8.We gave it a conservative inside spread of 18 1/2" making it a good 183 2/8's class buck.With only 5 4/8" deductions it would have net 177 6/8".
I would love to be able to hunt this buck.

I've been offered a cape and a free mount to mount the antlers.For now I think I'll leave the antlers as sheds though.

I think that's an awesome way to go. I mean, it's one thing to kill a buck like that, but it's quite another to find the sheds. BOTH OF THEM. What are the odds of that? I think a plaque with the sheds fastened in some form that accentuates that you found them would be too cool. Very nice sheds, deershed!

Deershed is he a city buck or something that you can't hunt him? Have you seen him on the hoof ever? Awesome set, i hope you find his sheds again this year

He's in an area off limits to hunting.I just found out the other day a search for his sheds this year may not be an option.
The day I found his sheds was the one and only day I was ever on that property.
