Well here's a little update on my future move to FL. They just started the first phase of building or new house. I am so excited that I have a secluded wooded preserve that boarders and is adjacent to our back yard. I can imagine what critters will be coming out at sunset! Hehe....tra

Good luck on the move. I am in east central florida and hunt a lot of the WMA's. Let me know when you get settled. I will see if I can help you out on the management areas and quota hunts. Me and my two kids had a muzzleloader hunt this past weekend and killed a spike and 4 hogs. I hunted by myself sunday afternoon and saw 33 pigs but was looking for a buck.

When are you leaving my friend? You'll have to hit the property with me one more time before you do.

Marvin the house in fl. Is suppose to be built by the end of Jan. , Feb. A t the latest so I have to start packing January. So that only gives me about 2 month s left in this state to hunt before I have to pack my hunting gear. The good news is I am free every weekend now so we can plan for a day brother for sure, I want to go to ls for some pre scouting very soon if possible.
Just got done doing a long distance bike ride, getting these hams and quads pumped up and ready for the hills of l.s. .........tra

So I disappear for a bit and this is what I come back to!!!
We never did get to bow hunt for bears.
I moved to the North State and have a better base camp now.
We still have time.

My lost JHO Brother muddy udders! Robert What's up bro miss u 4 sure, I know u are living the good life up north in Shasta. U probably wake up with bears staring in your windows...lol yeh i am getting ready to make a move back east in about 5 mo. So it only gives me about 2 very short mo. To get my last Cali hunting days in which will be limited. We will have to keep in touch if we don't get a chance to hunt together again my friend...tra

Rachel your awesome and have a great personality my friend and u are the sunshine of the VC. I really glad u joined us here on JHO u have been a great asset here on the forum for all our currant Lake Sonoma info and stats and also Ranger Joel been a great asset too and continues to be. Hope to see u all soon!....tra

jB I got 13 fishing poles and ones a heavy duty stripper pole will that work for tarpon I know it's a bad ass fish to wrangle. Was already Thinking about trading my bike for a nice fishing boat but I will wait till I get to Florida see what up I have a sister that lives in Tampa. One thing for sure I want to do sell my float tube set up, there is no way my feet are dangling in any body of water in fl. With gators everywhere...lol...tra

Thanks Jesse, at least I have JHO to stay alive for, different state with new exciting fishing and hunting stories to share here on JHO, I can't wait!....tra

Yes sancho will have a little breathing room that's for sure, I am excited about having woods and water right behind us, can't wait to see what critters crawl out there.....tra

aah crap! I'm going to miss following your hunting adventures, especially Lake Sonoma. I've enjoyed your efforts in sharing your experiences in these hills very much. May you and your wife find peace and plenty of game in Florida. God Bless!
