Well the new house in florida is pretty much complete and finalization will be at the end of January and it looks like mid march we will be moving in, so it looks like my Cali hog hunting days are coming to an end very quickly because I have to start focusing on the move and packing within the next 6 weeks.
It's starting to really hit me now how I will miss all my good JHO Brothers i have hunted with here in ca. and shared great times with that I will never forget.
I going to hit the lake this weekend it might be my last time up there so I just want to get away and reflect for a day and hopefully stick an arrow in a little dinker oinker before I leave this state. Have a great day everyone!......tra

Update- well 22 more days and I am out of here, packing now so I will be busy till I leave. Here's some photos of the new home it's awesome with the wildlife perseve right behind us. My very good friend and hunting partner jb229 was in florida last week and sent me these teaser photos of some Florida hogs, real nice ones too! And I am very close to a lot of super resonable hog outfitters. No tags No license required, Yeh baby! Have a great day people!.......tra

Thanks guys, I have been googling the area I will be living at for public land hunting and and outfitters and I am in a great location within 2 hrs or less of a couple of top outfitters with reasonable prices for hog hunting and once I get settled in I am sure I will find a lot of great other places to hunt. Hogs are free in FL. I just returned from there, boar are everywhere. No size limit, no count limit, no wanton waste laws, large or small-kill em all, that's the way Florida rolls. This big boy is between 10-12 feet long and would lay in the grass and wait for the pigs to pass by him, then nail em as they hit the water. Pretty smart for a lizard. I'm going back with my bow next time.

Just found out my brother and his wife may be moving just south of Tampa. If so, my wife and I may actually have some conversations about moving out of California and looking at Florida. Her oldest sister and her husband already live up by Gainesville and another sister and brother in law are in SC. Would be nice to live at least somewhere close to family.

Looking at the houses I could get for what I paid here in California about makes me vomit.

Well people I am chilln at the sf airport right now in the United
First Club v.i.p. section, getting ready to board the plane in 20 and we ride first class. Wow cant believe I am finally leaving Cali and heading to Florida to start my new adventurous life and Can't wait to get settled so I can start my new hunting adventures stories to post on jho.
