Ok Bionic woman, Satchmo where did that come from? Cathy you and your sisters are invited to Calif. to hog hunt on 15,000 acres or go deep sea albacore tuna fishing, you might want to get away from 100 +degree heat in Texas.

So if your post is NOT a April fools, here is my ph 310 372-0770 . You gals look like you may be flight attendants. So get on out here.

It always amazes me that these knife hunters can find their mark on a big boar & bury that knife to good effect. What I mean is that when my buddy bagged his 350 lb. boar in Houston, after skinning it, we measured the thickness of the "shoulder shield" and it came out as 3" thick. I proceeded to try & stab it with my 3.5" blade Gerber folding knife & try as I might, the knife will not go through but stops somewhere in the middle. Now I know that these knife hunters use a more capable knife, but still, it amazes me at their strength & prowess, not to mention the sheer audacity & daring
<
, remember, these are powerful and wild animals with razor sharp slashers. According to her post, one was a 400 lb. behemoth. That is huge!! Much more admirable when they are ladies and very gorgeous ladies at that. Must be the good climate & culture in "Don't mess with me, Lonestar State, Texas". As for me, I will pass on the adrenaline rush. My hats off to these deadly, knife wielding beautiful Texas ladies. May the Good Lord bless you & keep you and protect you always. God Bless. larrysogla.

Thank you so much for the kind words Larry
<
I will tell you that on the big boar I first tried sticking him with a tanto shaped blade, NO, NO!
<
The shield,if I am remembering correctly was 3 to 31/2 inches thick and was like trying to poke a tractor tire!!
<
Sis on the other hand was nearly wrist deep with a needle point bowie and after switching knives I was successful in doing my part.
<
We had both first gotten smaller pigs except for my sister michelle, her first was a 250lbr boar
<
which actually was the meanest and toughest of them all!
<
The dogs grab hold and do not let go, thank goodness,
<
With the right knife even that shield is like hot butter. I think pics of the shield are on here somewhere, man does he taste good, TTFN, Cathy

Satchmo ..... This question is for real all kidding aside . Are you married or involved? I'm 34 self employed with 6 figure income and live to hunt and fish the salt water. Been told I'm not to hard on the eyes.
