Thanks Mel and Ralph, I was just thinking earlier I need to schedule a hog hunt soon for sure. Just trying to get settled in to the new place. A lot of unpacking to do still. Hopefully I get it all dialed in is week.
I still got to throw on some gear and my snake chaps and explore my backyard woods.
It's so cool that I don't have to go far for the wild action it's all around me.
Can't wait for a wild pig to show up in the back yard, got the grill ready to fire up and some sweet baby rays bbq sauce........tra

Hi Nick your back yard reminds me of my bro & law in Texas he lives right on lake lavone he has a lot of wild property but he says he can only cut the grass and wild stuff to a certain distance, its ran by the core of engineers, is that the same way you guys are set up ?

Slant the woods is part of the private community development we live in and our back yard borders it. they say if u ain't scared go for it, but be careful. One contractor told me he wouldnt go in there without a 45..Hhmmmm
Bubblehide the heck with a jho party here but a jho backyard group hunt / barbecue, let me check with the neighbors first and see if they wouldn't mind a little hoot and hollaring going on here....lol
Slant that's not an eagle but one of my favorite birds of prey an OSPREY . They feed on 99% fish diet they can dive from 100-150 feet striaght down vertical into the water and hook fish with their non retractable talons up to 16 ft.under the water, but if they are to deep with a big fish they can't open their talons and could possibly drown.
I watched them many times at my favorite lake doing their thing it's amazing. When i go fishing at the lake I aways look for them circling high Above the water. And that's where I go fish because I know they have them spotted And ready to dive and snatch. Hopefully I can hook one before they do.....lol
