Hello fellow shedders. I was out sheddin' with a buddy. We were on seperate deer trails in the same field. As the trails started to converge, I saw this out of the corner of my eye. My buddy was 10 feet further down his trail and closing fast. I dove on it. I'll usually leave a shed lying where it is until I call someone over to see it but I saw palmated tines and found myself airborne. He eventually found the other side, a typical 4 point, about 50 yards away. Hope you like it, I know I do.

CONGRATS on a awesome shed!! I would have got a little nervous too with another shed hunter getting close to that after I spotted it.lol
Did your buddy do a swap with you so you'd have a set since you found the other half first? If I shed hunt with someone else and one finds a shed then the other half is found we swap sheds so the guy that found the first half gets the second too.

Hi Deershed, no he wouldn't give up the match. I think big bank takes little bank but he wouldn't budge. If we ever find a match between us again, he said he'd trade.

Nice shed!!

Unwritten Shed'n rule #27326
Section A 45

"If a group of buds head out for a day of shed'n and a matched set is found by seperate parties the party who picked up the match passes on asformentioned antler to his bud who picked up the first"

Sub Section C 9

"If is agreed mutually upon by the groups said shed will be handed over with one shed owed by the first party, payable back on future trips"

Although I found the first side last week and my bud found the second side 2 days later...I gave mine up to him (well we traded) and kind of regret it now LOL.

Congrats again on the unique shed!

Nice finds!

Too bad they can't stay together, I have never had a buddy find a match, so I don't know what I'd do. Some of my friends have gone with me before, but they never found anything.
