Wen to the lease yesterday to check on things and found my first shed. It is a mianframe 10 with a split brow tines. I didnt have a camera but i will post up some pictures in bit.

Per the boone a crocket score sheet this one side is 78.5". If the other side was the same and with an 18" spread this buck would score 175 gross.

I found the shed out in the middle of a pasture. It was about 400 yds from where my avitar picture was taken. (its not the same deer as my avitar.)

I know

Great shed.Congrats on the first.Hope you bag a bigun come season (wich surely isn't that far away guys?)

WARNING:
Did finding it effect you in any way?
You may very well have the bug.It can be diagnosed by increased heart rate, sweating, double vision, and feaverishly excessive punching of the air.Their is no cure.

I was wondering why i was having hotflashes when i started walking through the woods. LOL

I have been a shed hunter for a long time (prolly 5 years) but not a hard hunter like some of the guys on here. If i was riding through the woods i would look around.

Now i am more into walking through the woods and looking around I can see alot more ground when i walk rather than ride.

Looked like a good thread to chime into. I found this one (my first) in the D-14 area while deer hunting last weekend. Was thrilled to see that there are some real nice possibilities in the area. This was a 4x4 but one of the tines broke off on the trip back. Oh well still proud to have my first. It had to be a mountain lion kill.
