I shoot this Giraffe in South Africa last may, 2005 I am holding it and my dad is on my right. We shot other things too with and I'll post those pics latter when things slow down.

rusman, I know you were only making a joke, but in all seriousness the giraffe can be difficult to find when hunting in heavy cover.

Nice looking giraffe by the way.
IMHO, giraffe is the best tasting game South Africa has to offer.

But seriously? difficult to find as in hard to come by or not a lot of animals around OK I could by that. Hard to spot as in there here but I just can't see them really?.

It tasted alright but bushbuck is by far the best in africa.

Not only can they be hard to spot in cover but its even harder not to be spotted by them........they are like 5 m periscopes scanning for people or lions or anything else sneaking up on them. I have had them watching me from as far away as 800 - 1200m. they really are quite awake in areas they are hunted in. A great tophy, well done.
