Finally, After waiting a long six months my mount is finished (ha ha)!! It's awsome, I wouldn't change a thing. Jesse at Absolute Perfection Taxidermy in Riverside did the mount. My bull officially scored 303 6/8", making the CBH, P&Y and B&C all time record books. Just to put his size into perspective for a Tule elk, he is the third largest (recorded) ever to be taken with a bow. I'm not bragging, just very happy to have taken such an awsome critter with what may be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Ed F

After having that thing sit behind me for three days at the expo.......well, it still looks good! I liked the write up on it in the Fair Chase magazine too....YOU da man.

That's a dang good looking mount Ed. Congrats! And having the 3rd best bow tule in the world is frickin awesome!!!

Hey Ed,

What herd did take your bull? My partner's bull he took back on our hunt in 96 had the same triangle branch on the top of his right antler. We took our bulls out of the herd between Bishop and Lone Pine. Looks like maybe the same bloodline.
