N.E. zone scouting trip #2

The hunt is just over a week out. I'm heading back up for a few days. Going to check out some the recent burns up there and see what the damage is. Hopefully locate an animal or two. Archery season is open up there right now.. maybe get some info from some guys in the field.

Thanks to the guys that have dropped me PMs with info. It is appreciated. I'll hopefully have some pics to post in the next couple days.

Good luck to you,,I'm in a real Tizzy with a truck with what we think is a blown rear seal! Taking it to Redding in the AM and hope to get it back by Thursday. Head over then. say Howdy if you see a White 1 ton Dodge. I have'nt decided whether to bring Tent and Horse or Camper yet. Just getting back from Ak. a few days ago and catching up with everything has me in a Jam!

So far this trip is turning up the same results as last. No elk. Found sign in a couple areas.. mostly old. One spot seemed as though I just missed them. Lots of deer. I'd be stoked if I had an X2 tag. Found cat tracks yesterday. Found tracks today that I don't really know what to make of.. they look more like dog tracks, but they're huge. Almost the size of my hand. The animal had a pretty big gait as well. I have a couple more days to look around. Going to switch things up tomorrow.

Yes, I've tried Fandango. I've been ALL over this zone. Things kind of fell into place today. Think I'm starting to get em dialed in! Finally starting look up.

You may have run across the tracks of that wolf that is running around up there.

The garden produced a couple of good Bulls and a handful of cows from what i have been told. I've seen pictures of one good bull and a couple of cows.
