The Lake Nacimiento White Bass spawned 2 weeks ago, and a few guys caught up to 100 fish per day. (catch & release). I visited the spawing area this week, and everything was quiet. But of course, there is a chance that there will be a 2nd spawn in a couple of weeks. The present hot weather may get them in the mood again?
The first pic is of the famous water fall.
The second is looking up river towards the spawing riffle with the water fall pool in the for ground.
The third is my sled beached directly below the falls, and its position is WGS 84 N35 45.932 W121 04.390
The fourth is looking down river toward the lake.
