I've been saving these photos for an opportunity just like this...who knew they would come in so handy? Actually, I was going to post them in the varmint forum one of these days to toast Deerslam for all his entertaining he does for us with his dead squirrel photos.

_______ the Spotted Pig (Fill in the Blank)
(You have to read it like Rudolph)

There once was a wild pig
That had a very spotted coat

It was deserving of a nickname
That's what the landowner wrote

All of the boys at JHO
Laughed and made it a game

Who could give the funniest
Wild piggy name.

Then one balmy June evening
Jesse's choice was made

That big ole spotted pig
Now had it's nickname

All of the JHO members
Laughed and said FINALLYYYYY.

Now let's go get that spotted pig
And skin it from a tall oak tree.

Man I hope this does not lead to a wildlife poetry forum :On this I am so sure:Cause when you start the rymin game:For this there is no cure; This pig is big and oh so full of color:But someday folks he'll be dead:And then we'll name his brother. Upper

A rhyming game, this is not. Just a name search for the pig with spots. Nor a challenge let this be. I don't expect any to hang with me. This thread haunts me day and night. I can not resist the urge to write. All the voices in my head, will sure be glad when this pig is dead.

I believe this has now become the official JHO/BHR Name That Pig Poetry Slam!
<

Gotta give that hog a name, with some fame, but I ain't the one to blame and it's really all the same
but it's only a hog, not a dog, bigger than a log and faster than a frog wanna stick it with my SOG
in the heart, or a smart dart from my bow, blow by blow action don't ya know? Yo!

If this is gonna lead to a poetry reading night with everyone sipping carmel half-and-half mochiatos with whip cream and sprinkles while snapping our fingers, I'm

no sign of piglets,
now, nor soon,
this be a boar
I spy this moon,

my aim is true,
I tarry not,
I shall shoot,
no wet Spot

Surprised no one has suggested it, but I'm gonna go with Spot.

My wife suggests that it be named Target. Or Bullseye. Or Paris (cause we can't catch her either)!!!!!!!

Oh mi-gosh........Upper, Bisley, Jean and of course that literary genius named Speckmisser......NOW all we need is to hear from Doccherry and 8Track and we should have a real Ham Jam goin'...........Man that Speckmisser can sure toss a sharpie Rappie song sans music.....Lots of talent in here for sure.....and all of it inspired by one mud rolling, dirty toe nailed, ridge running PIG named....?????????? 'Nuff said.
