I read about this website in the National Geographic website. I have to say I'm almost more addicted to it than I am to JHO.:skeered:
Basicall, to get a 'My Shot' account, you submit a photo to the 'Your Shot' contest. The photography editor chooses 12 photos from all that were submitted for the day and they are then up for vote. The favorite photo gets published in the magazine for that month. Also, once you submit the picture, you can add up to 200 photos to your 'My Shot' album. My favorite part about the site is seeing the thousands of high quality photographs and learning from the shots. You can rate other's pictures as well as having others rate your pictures. I also like the jigsaw puzzle part - it is a good time waster.
Just thought you all might like this site - I definately think many members on this site shot such high quality shots that they could be chosen as part of the daily dozen and maybe published.
