Conservation groups from throughout the county are sponsoring a festival Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Lake Murray in honor of National Hunting and Fishing Day. Admission is free. This is a great event for kids and the entire family. It will feature a Kids Casting Contest sponsored by Bassmasters, and the Outdoor Channel will hold auditions to find an outdoorsman or woman who wants to host their own outdoors show. Saturday is a free fishing day (no license required).
