LOL, If you target shoot on 1,000 acres, not many hunting opportunities are going to be left i guess.

It's a different ball game on private land. With the exception of a month or so before deer season, I practice shooting on my lease all the time. I've taken plenty of pigs there, sometimes on the same day as practicing. It's only 750 acres.

I've also had buddies takes pigs less than a mile from me and never hear the shot. It's weird the way sound bounces off the hills sometimes.

Im pretty sure i stumbled across this information advertised on a web site. good luck finding the rest of your crew. If i had the cash i would be interested. If it is where i think it is then i see does feeding on the south facing hillside every evening when i am in the area.

Hey it's probably too late but if the offer is still there can you PM me with details ? I know A zone is done but pigs and quail is coming up. I am from Santa Maria living in T.O. now but I know the area very well. If not this year definatley next. But I'd be interested just for the quail and pig for the remainder of the season.

Thanks,

Mj:thumbs up2:

Nipomo

I am good friend of the Knotts family ( Jockos) . Use to hunt Dan Sheehy's Ranch and the Winemans.Went to school with lots of the locals there. Was just at the Buck contests in Nipomo at the Mens Club with Ed Randolf ! I'd like to joing if it opens up! I know that area very well & would have a lot to offer the group !
