We're only a month from end of deer season - and I want to be able to make the night time rounds of our lease and see who survived. I don't have the luxury of waiting for a bright night, full moon or snow cover. I'm guessing that cost constraints will keep me in monocular. Who has used night vision optics? Do you have any recommendations for brand/model? What is the approx max range to be able to tell if the deer's got a good rack? Are there any better deals than the BassPro and Cabelas catalog sales? Thanks for any help you can give.
