Hi there, we may not be able to make the application deadline at FHL for this weekend,

does anyone have any ideas on where else to hunt??
I was told about Williams Hill which is near San Antonio Lake... any suggestions..

I dont know the area to well and we dont mind hunting on BLM if we have to .....

Please help

Where are you coming from? That would help in determining the best public ground to direct you to.

im coming from los angeles county...
we dont mind making the drive up there, but where else is pretty good to hunt on the way up..

we'll be coming up the 101 ...thanks

DONT WASTE A TRIP TO WILLAMS HILL I HUNTED THERE SEVERAL TIME AND ONLY SEEN SQUIRELS NO SIGN OF ANYTHING ELSE THERE YOU MIGHT TRY CURRY MT OR LAGUNA MT I HAVE SEEN PIGS AND LOTS OF SIGN THERE

i was also told about laguna mtn...have you hunted there before..?

are there places to camp?

Hi Ekg,
This time of the year Laguna would probably be the best bet for BLM hunting.....Bring a BIG canteen and lots of bug spray though the hike will be long and the mosquitos and black flies will be out in force.You might want to consider taking the I-5 north to the 46 West and hooking into the 101 in Paso Robles...lot less scenary but it shaves about an hour off the drive time.
