Need some help

Does any one know of a good Hunter saftey instructor in the Simi Valey/San Fernando Valley area?

My son just went on his first hunt with me and the guys but was'nt allowed to carry. I wanted him to watch/listen/learn first and earn trust from the guys. I also wanted to be sure this was something he'd be into. Well,

he loved it and I could'nt be more proud. Now he's on my tail every other day about getting signed up.

I figure we'll take it together, been years since I went through, and a refresher won't hurt either.

Oaktree has a class every couple of weeks. Also Angeles Crest has a class schedule as well.

Glad to hear you're going to go through the course with your son. My dad signed me up and took the course with me when I was 10. He ended up getting a 98 on the test and I got a 97. That was over 20 years ago and since then we've shared many fun and memorable hunts together. Sounds like you're gettin' him started right. Good Job!

always appreciate input from brother hunters.
My boy's turning into a great guy and I couldn't be more proud. Not just because he's getting into hunting but for who he is. I'm really starting to see the rewards of being a Dad and I love it.

I can't wait for the next JHO hunt so we can meet all of you.
All of my hunter friends are great people and I feel privelaged to have so many other people around to share positive influence on my son.
