I killed an antelope in 156 2 years ago. Didn’t see squat for deer or many antelope for that matter. I really liked the look of the mountains in 154 just north of Austin. I was told to hit up Mt Callaghan. I didn’t spend too much time glassing it but it looks fantastic. As a group the zones look great. Big bucks I’d speculate are gonna be few and far between but I would drive and glass, drive and glass, then glass some more.
There are a bunch pivots up between 156 and 153 also. There have to be deer around there.
There are guzzlers up in there too.
