Well I finally broke down and bought a better digital camera today. It is a Kodak Z740. The HP photosmart 435 that I already have was driving me crazy because I was unable to take any close up pictures. I was just fooling around today and took these pictures just after it rained. Hopefully the weather will be a little nicer tomorrow and I can get some practice in.

The first pic is of a tulip bud (I should have pinched off the one behind it).

The next close up is of an azalea flower

Nice job Clutch,

Keep 'em coming. Spring is definitely here for us used to the cold temps and snow.

Now if I could only call in that Gobbler.......

Ck, good job. Actually I like the first pic the way it is. If you wanted to isolate the flower that would be cool too.

Does the cam have a macro mode? I'd try to learn the manual modes as much as possible, you get the most from the cam that way.
