Well, while on a short vacation this last week my Oly C-750UZ went ka-poot on me...

Been thinking about a new one for some time now, guess it's time...Which new ones do you like? I like the new SP 510 and the Sony also.

Help me decide!

That all depends on what you want. I'm still trying to decide also and don't have a lot of expertise. But you are in the right spot and try www.dpreview.com (you can read reviews, do side-by-side comparisons, shop, etc.).

Thanks El, looked at that one and Steve's! Really liking the look of the Panasonic FZ8 also...Rating high in reviews!

Ya, I really like the looks of the Panasonics too. I've decided against one just because it's L-ion. I want the ability to purchase batteries out in the field if I need them....I'm looking at the Canon Powershot S3IS or the new Kodak 12x camera. I also heard that Canon should be coming out with the replacement for the S3IS soon.
