Foulshot,

Yes, I have this area about three hundred short of the "dark" timber where the Elk bed that shows major signs of travel (I don't go into the dark stuff until the last day or two of the season; Elk do NOT like to be bothered in their homes).

There is one cam on the main trail out and two cams I switch around on the "bleeder" trails on the way down the moutain. I am trying to determine which ones are used the most over the summer. The cams all ready captured a couple of the bulls and cows on two different points of the trail (a couple hundred yards) minutes apart.

I am building two more cams, this time with proper timers. My current cams, using only the forced-flash as timers, are getting too many pictures of the same elk (sometimes four and five pictures; like the spooked one) and I would like to get a more diverse view of ALL the Elk cruising the neighborhood.

I am leaving in thirty to swap the film out for this week's set of photos. I figure if I keep the cams up there long enough, they'll get used to them (getting flashed at all the way up and down the moutain).

Thanks,

Eric
