Never had it hit this bad so early.I couldn't take it any more so I started
my season last week.I had a good 1/2 day getting it out of my system,
then it snowed again.

I took a vacation day this coming friday.Hopefully the snow will be gone and
the sheds willl start showing up.
Good luck it's almost here.......

I'm getting anxious waiting here chewing my nails but all the bucks are still carrying. The snow depth super low, lots of bare dirt in the timber. If I haddn't of hit my areas so hard last year, I'd be finding old sheds now. But not to many missed my or my buddies greedy eyes. In another couple of weeks most of the bucks should be ready to drop. I don't know if I should pray for more snow or not. More snow would push the big bucks down to where they should be but it will mean I won't be able to shed hunt until Spring. The bucks are scattered at all elevations right now. From valley bottom to just below the alpine. Moose are no where to be seen. Where I normally see 20-30 moose in a couple of hours of glassing, there isn't even a moose track. All the moose are still up really high. No wonder why I was skunked on Bull Moose with my Oct. draw. LOL!
