Gotta check it out. I just picked up a scope cam for my GOPRO. Can't wait to get some slomo vids.
I use air rifles. They are so quiet, I can pick up multiple quail from one spot. I set up high, about 50 meters away from my target area. I hit one quail, the other quail don't flee, they check out the downed quail. That's when I pick up a few more. This doesn't happen all the time. I love the stealthiness of AIR RIFLES for quail, dove and more.

I walk around with my tripod/gun over my shoulder (see pads). Head shots at 50-60 meters.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I haven't heard of anyone doing that before.

We used to live in East Temecula. Plenty of quail, doves, rabbits.... Now we live on Palomar Mountain, I haven't found a good spot near here. I am looking for a good spot near Palomar. I've been to Love Valley and around Lake Henshaw, not much luck.
Can anyone recommend a place to find RAbbits, Doves, Quale..... near Palomar Mountain?
I plan to scope cam my hunt and eats.

No kidding, I picked off four at one time, that is my best. One or two is typical. I need to put together a vid soon.
