I received an email from the New Mexico DFG:

Congratulations! The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish is notifying you that you were successful in drawing a 2010 - 2011 hunting license for the following hunt code(s): DER-2-293. Information specific to your hunt code can be found in the current 2010 - 2011 New Mexico Big Game Rules and Information booklet. The booklet can be found online at the Department website http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us. Again, congratulations and good luck on your hunt!

Drew 1-160 Der Unit 10 should be a good hunt. 1st tag of the season for me.

NO ELK for me this year. But al least I got a deer tag with all the other States no give me anything.

Thats a great tag, I've spent some time in Unit 15 during those dates. If it doesn't rain, you will have a great hunt. Just don't over-call! The big bulls in that region seem to be a little call shy.

Unit 51 antlerless Elk in November. It will be my second year trying this area. I'm looking forward to it.
