New mexico elk

Does anyone have any info on New Mexico elk hunting in GMU 16B and 34. Any info would be great. My Dad and Brother hunted it year ago. Maybe a stating point to look into. I'm a hard hunter and willing to Backpack a few miles in. Just planning ahead for 2011. Ill be putting in for archery hunting.

Good numbers of elk in 34 some top spots to hit for archery will be Willis Canyon, Russia Canyon and Benson Ridge hope this helps.
