New Pics from a new camera

I finaly had a decent day (weather) and some time to take some pics. Actully I was hunting ducks but there weren't any flying so I just took pics instead.

Any tips and pointers on improving are appreciated. I'm just starting out so I really don't know alot, just what I have read on the net. Thanx, Tim

Great pictures! i really like the 2 pictures of the driftwood on the beach. I'm don't know anything about composition or lighting or what makes a good picture, but i do know that i like those 2 pics. Keep em coming!
