I've heard of Newcom and they even sent me some press info on their units. No one I know of has monkeyed aroudn with any of their gear though. I didn't see them at the SHOT Show but it was a huge show. I'll try and weasel a pair for a demo.

Leica has a new 1200 yard model out and I hear it's the cadillac now of rangefinders. Still trying to get my grubby hands on one of those too.

One thing about ranging out past 800 yards, you'd better have a good tripod to make it work consistantly.
