new to shed hunting

Hey does anyone know when the mulies start shedding in southern cali??I hunt the d11 d 13 zones and i want to get out find some sheds when the time is right.

I think that clovishunter is from california and he might be able to give you some direction.
I'm from Saskatchewan and the best time to shed hunt usually is in mid april.

Probably a bit different down there but once you start you'll get the hang of it!

ok,just a clue on hunting shedds(the pro's and newbies),when I was living in Montana,I started looking in tree's for elk shedds.The reason is people hunting,find those shedds and don't want to carry the horn.
So they stick it into a branched tree and sometimes they forget what tree it was.
I have found a few horns this way......Even the whitetail shedd here in the Dakota's.
Hope my memory never fails me on finding things.....
