New to the Pig Hunt

I've hunted wild boar on public lands and have never seen any pigs, although I have seen their tracks. I am hoping to glass and stalk the pigs through reasonable countryside. I'm using a Browning .308 with a Leupold scope. Can anybody advise me on finding land owners who welcome pig hunters? The best possible scenario would be if I could camp on their grounds and hunt during the day.

Welcome to the forums. Why not plan on coming to the JHO pig-o-rama at Camp Roberts in December. There should be plenty of us there and hopefully lots of piggys. The info is posted in its own thread under JHO events.
