New to wild pig hunting

Im new to this sight but have really enjoyed the topics.Want to go on my first hog trip and have noticed alot of talk about CR.I was wondering if this would be a good place to start out.ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL.

Yes, it is very doable. I just about had my first shot at two piggys within 200yds of the gate. Third piggy, you know as in the '3 little pigs" busted me. I didn't see him until I got out from behind the bush I was hiding in. Lots of roads by the river, lots of roads in the hills (watch out for the poisen oak), lots of open areas. If I was using a muzzleloader, or slug gun, I could have dropped those piggies, but at 20+yards with a borrowed bow without an arrowrest, I waited until they turned to move out for the shot.
There are many places to hunt without a 4x4. I might even bring a rod and fish next time.
