New World Record Elk

I received a text message from my buddy showing this enormous Bull. He said it is a new record and scored 617 points. It was taken in Colorado some where. Has anyone else heard about this? Is this real?

Not to be a skeptic as that bull is silly ginormous but the hunter doesn't look to happy. Not even the slightest crack of a smile.

It seems like 90% or more of pics of huge animals are faked or misrepresented. The perspective (point of view?) of where the camera is
makes it much bigger than it is. It appears to be a large animal for sure.

I give it two thumbs down till there is more info.

I am with the others, it just seems fake. That would be great if it is really represented correctly but It seems so over the top that it is hard to swallow. Also, I think we would have heard more by now if it was really represented correctly. But then again, I don't have a clue about the source, so who knows.

Is that the Spider Bull? He's got a slinger on the right side, but the angles don't match up enough for me to be sure.

First impression is a so-so photoshop job. The shadows just don't seem correct. I'm sure if that pic is in circulation, someone over at Monster Muleys would have the low down.

If it's the one I remember it was killed some time ago and was a Fenced-in hunt area, or as some call it, a canned hunt.

I was sent the same picture stating it was a new world record from Unit 9 in AZ - Might be a real elk, but the stories going around about it are internet garbage.

I have two answers for this.

1.) Bad photoshopping.
2.) That hunter isn't cracking a smile if it is real because he just got the bill for it!
