Usually I would just drive by this guy....but today I couldn't resist. He is soooo nice! Not real far from this area you can hunt these dudes if you are lucky enough to get drawn....which I haven't been able to do in the last eight or so years. I love those dark antlers......plus I believe he is an 8x10!

He's a Rosey, right. If so he'd be at the top of the books.

As far as I know Rosey right....or maybe got to close the the nuke power plant rosey or something. He is a stud....so big in fact that I didn't even bother taking a picture of the 6x6 that was only about 50 yards from him. The road in the background in Hwy 101 for what it is worth.

If you see this guy on a regular basis, I'd be searching for his drops as soon as they fall if I were you. I'm surprised he didn't bust them up, I guess no other elk even considered challenging him !

Great Photo! Naturally after season is over, is when you see the big boys. I would love to see more photos of that one.
