Ive tryin to get one with my bow but havent been that lucky...the pigs are way to spooky on public land, been tryin to find ranches and orchards that want there pigs thinned out...then me and my Hoyt could do some damage

I do bow hunt but I've never harvested anything, just lots of miss's and close encounters so far.

I've killed 8 mule deer/blacktail,over 10 pigs,over 20 turkeys but all were w/ a handgun,rifle, or shotgun.

I'd much rather hunt w/ a bow, thats what I'm working towards doing exclusively, instead of firearms. I'll tag something sonner or later my problem is I just get too nervous and too shaky w/ a bow, I can hit the hey bail or even soda can at 40 yards no problem but when it comes to real life I get pretty shaky when somethings that close. I hit a deer last year didnt make a good hit (skin off the back) killed him later during rifle season.

ya theres really very little public land thats worth looking into when it comes to pigs imo. Private or Guided is the only way to go in CA but thats just my

Mostly I hunt pigs mule deer and turkey.
