Went pig hunting north of Bend today after I had seen fresh sign in the area. No luck, although I wasn't too hopeful as Oregon hogs are quite scarce. Worth a try though, especially since I can't hunt big game until pronghorn season this summer. I plan on going again this week and am determined to get a hog; since my last one was down in between Coalinga and King City last fall. Loving all the success pictures recently.

hogs north of Bend? First I heard of that. Probably no tag required up there. Good luck man.

grew up hunting and fishing all over that area and thats the first time ive heard as well. i do know people are pretty tight lipped about pigs in oregon so if youve found some, stick with it and blindfold your buddies driving in! good luck!

How about some photos of the area. Or maybe a description of the type of terrain.

North of Bend are all rolling hills with sage and junipers with some digger pines mixed in. More open grass lands as you get closer to the Columbia River on 97. Perfect for mule deer and antelope. But pigs, I hope DuckFever finds a honey hole.
