Nor Cal Hog Guides

I'm a So Cal transplant to Northern Nevada (Reno) and I'm missin my "California Hog Huntin" BAD!!!!! Looking for a guided hog hunt an hour or two out of the Sacramento area to put some meat in the freezer. I usually hunt the Central Coast (King City, Paso, FHL, JHO Pig O Rama, Etc), but I wanna stay a little closer to home. Just wanna see what my choices are for the area. I'm a rifle hunter, spot and stalk. Any suggestions?

Northern Powder outfitters is, based out of Red Bluff. I used to work on the Williams ranch he hunts just east of Sacramento. There are alot of hogs and Jason is a real stand up guy, I've seen him bend over backwards for his hunters.

Hands down, no doubt about it, go with Jason at North Powder Outfitters. I went with him at the end of June and it was all good!!

slowpoke has the right contact info. There also is a web site northpowderoutfitters.net. As I said I worked on one of the ranches he hunts, so I never hired him but I did help him recover hogs and I talked to many people who hunted with him. I have never heard a bad word about any of his hunts. Be sure to post a story if you end up hunting.
