It is reported that Idaho will have another bumbr crop of big steelhead this fall and winter. It is reported that this fall and winter should be another banner year for steelhead fishing. Last winter during December I caught 20 keepers and about 10 more that I had to release beside the ones that I lost, and they ranged from 7 to 20 pounds with most of them between 12 and 18 pounds. I caught another 5 keepers in January. I caught them all in the Clearwater right off the dike in Lewiston, Idaho using a bobber and a 3/8 ounce jig.
