Noticed a road kill this morning

On Hwy 41 in Kern county, about a 100 yards from SLO county.

Happens all the time, especially along the 58 corridor between hwy33 and hwy 101.
That area you saw the body in, has a big population of wild pigs. It always strikes me as odd that they can do so well out in that barren country. Inside SLO county the population soars, but most all are on the feed and water rich ranches. Now that the grain is starting to green up, they are everywhere.

it must be the one my cousin said that they ran over but it was dead already he was going fishing to lake naciemento and in the whole day out of four guys they caught 82 fish i missed out because of work.

CS , was it on the right hand side of the road if heading South bound on 41? If so I saw it this weekend as well. The wife and I went to Pismo yesterday and saw it, thought it was a dog but then coming back today I got a better look at it and it was a hog.

I should have just cruised the 41 on my way from SoCal. Would have saved me 100 in mileage, lol.

The wife saw it running across the road and called me to tell me about it, about two hours later i came through saw it on the side of the road dead.
