Pretty neat. Is the longest tine a brow tine? It kinda looks like he was bigger but broke off the main beam. Either way thats a very unique find. When I was younger I shot a buck that was broken just above the brow tines on each side. He was a pretty weird looking brute too.
Takes a mighty fine eye to spot that one! A few years ago a friend of mine shot a massive 10pt. buck with the bow...the deer took off running full bore into a tree and broke BOTH the horns off just above the base. What was left was what your shed looks like! He did mount the horns though. Good luck finding the other side!
CONGRATS to your friend! That's definately one to be proud of.Not only does it take a good eye to spot something like that,it's different and the different ones are the best in my book.
If he finds the other half to that one he better play the lottery the same night.lol
Thanks guys, my friend found it while taking a smoke break. He just happened to look down and there it was. He also found two broke off beams from other bucks and a small 3 pt. with a rather long pedicle. It was bloody and had a mucous like substance on it. Since it was so easy posting pics here's another.
