I was finally able to walk in the woods yesterday, not expecting to find much, but the first time in 10wks, since tearing my ankle up. Just wondered if anyone had found many sheds yet. I still am regularly seeing 4 bucks, that still have headgear, so I was more out testing the old ankle, but I figure over the next 2-3wks, I should start finding some!!!

trail cams are telling me they're still attached to there heads, also close to 40cm's of fresh powder snow, so any that fall are gone out of sight. i'll just wait until most of the snow is gone and continue monitoring with the cameras for now. good luck

I have put in close to twenty hours so far, mostly in Ohio, but almost five yeaterday in Pa. I have found nothing. I am starting to get a little frustrated. I know there has to be at least SOME on the ground and statistically, through random dumb luck I should have found one, but no. I have just about everything else one can find in the woods though. Plus I get wet EVERYTIME.

Been out 3 times, total of only about 6 hours, and nothing, but am still seeing several bucks in headgear even this weekend. So it still may be a little early here. I'll stroll about again later this week, Good Luck to all.

I found two fresh ones and one from last year, my buddy has six fresh. We're in N.W. Ohio. I've seen an equal number of racked, half-racked and bald bucks. I'd say it's prime time.

City,
I was just up in Tiffin, OH over the weekend, and found nothing in about 2.5 hours walking and glassing fields and woods alike, but did see 3 with horns still on. I found a monster 7pt last this fall while tracking another monster that I ended up losing near the Sandusky river south of Tiffin, it was probably near 9" at the base, and has 2 tines over 12", I gave it to my little nephew who was nice enough to hold our last point when we were tracking, while we looked for more blood. A horrible boring task, and he did it like a champ, I figured it was the least I could do. The squirrels ate it up only a little bit, so it's still in pretty good shape. I never scored it, but it's probably off of a 180+ deer. The one I lost was a nice high 140's deer, and I just missed an opportunity at a nice 170-180 inch 10 pt, with a 24" or so spread. No body got him this year, so hopefully, I can get another opportunity at him this fall!!!!! Thanks for the info, I suppose I'll get out again Thursday after work for a couple of hours, I have a real nice 120-class not quite 3 year old running all over my place, (in Muskingum County)can't wait for him to grow up either. I think his sheds should be pretty easy to find, as I have him patterned pretty well, but he's still a horny deer as of tonight!!!!!

I FINALLY picked up a decent sized 3pt shed the other day...but its last years. Last monday I saw another four bucks all with headgear and then last friday and this monday I saw the same five or six point. These are all urban deer and I have put quite a bit of time in. I went out to one of my hunting spots over the line in Pa. I put on 8.5 miles to no avail. Quite a bit of tracks though I was having trouble locating beds
