I had really nice conditions to photograph a few days ago. At the end of the day I saw a nice 10 pointer. It was not either of the 10 pointers that I photographed last year either.
Anyways, the lighting was awesome. I photographed a couple of deer just because of the lighting and surrounds that they were in.

This guy is pretty small, but I loved the shadows and highlights on his body.

This guy had that great evening glow on him. He is a good looking animal. I hope to see him again next year. I like the shape of his rack alot.

This is the big 10 point. These shots had alot of potential for some nice silhouette shots, but they never did materialize into what I wanted. In the end, the sun went down too far and the shots obtained alot of grain due to the low light conditions (dang I want a dslr and fast glass really bad). These are just a few of them. I have some more that I will try to post later that may look a little better
After looking at his rack for a while, I think I photographed him last thanksgiving(except he only had 8 points). Check out the photos from last year at this link and let me know if you think this is the same animal.
