Decided to take the day off and took my 18 yr old daughter Allie and her BF to the rifle range on Little Tujunga Canyon Rd. It's half rate (SWAT Day) so everyone their is ex-military, current or retired LEOs, defense contractors (saw a prototype 338 Lapua Mag w/ computer-assisted sight that was $30K) so we were in good company. My kid (in front of witnesses) announces she's going after the last row of steel targets at 600 yards. Second shot with the .300 WINMAG and DING! Nods of approval all around, I'm one proud papa today. The BF needs practice...his groups were fist-sized.
After Allie punched some center shots and hit the steel plate I told him he better not piss her off. LOL

Doesn't need one, we own a large lot and have 4 shovels.
