For all you guys that are worried about One Track being all by his lonesome in elk country, fear no more. On my way home from Co I made a little detour (13 1/2 hrs) and stopped in Brents camp. When I arrived he had a steak on the grill and a baked potatoe in the oven for me. Oh yeah, there was also a cooler full of beer and a real live country singer at the campfire. No bull, A COUNTRY SINGER! Clint, he was bad ass. Brent, being a social (drunk) butterfly that he is, had a stream of hunters stopping by his camp (party)!! Good times.

As far as the elk huntin was going, he is seeing bulls every day and he is holding out for a dream bull, til the beginning of next week. The hunt is getting better. I hunted with him the next morning and he passed on going after a 280" 5x6. The wind was blowing hard. I left Tuesday afternoon. I'm sure he's gonna smack a good one. Here are a few pics from our morning hunt. Ed F

Only time I ever met Brent he looked just like that. Folding chair, campfire, alcoholic beverage the only difference is that it was a harmonica not a guitar.

Go get em Brent!! Hunting them burns is tough.

I haven't seen to many pics of him without that in it. I think it is his way of saying he's #1 or something like that

Spoke with him this afternoon, had a real close call with a 350" this morning, things are getting better and the bulls are answering, though not quite coming to everything you throw at them, as we speak he may be gettin a monster back to camp, he was very optimistic about this afternoon.

Knock em dead boss man. Old people rock.

That feller with the makeup on looks familiar??????

One of the few I know who can get a good snort of whiskey in them the night before and be rearing to go the next morning.

Call em in close Brent.

Nothing as of 3:00 pm yesterday. He has about 2 hours left in the hunt.

I took off work yesterday and went up to hunt with him. We saw 4-5 bulls but nothing big. All 4 and 5 points.

Clint (pictured above with guitar) killed a 6 point that morning and Brent and I helped him pack it off the mountain.

Is that end of the hunt, or end of his hunt, until her returns, I thought he was going to hunt a few weeks then go home, and then go back the last week.

The tag expires at sundown today. I hope he is at full draw right now.
