How many would be interested in planning this trip in April as opposed to May. Also there are some dates for the North side. I have never hunting the North side but I have been told it is better than the South. I would like to reserve the weekend today or Tomorrow so any input would be great.

thanks.

I'm hoping to go for the first time next year. Having it in April would cut into my spring Turkey season. I guess one weekend hunting pig would be ok.

I'd like to hunt either or both sides, so let's think about having an either/or choice of dates. April is difficult for me next year, but depends on the weekend. Going to Hawaii next Spring Break...

The Dates would be April 6-8th, 13-15th or May 4-6th. That Date in May is pretty early in the month so I may just reserve that weekend. I am curious to try the North side though. It would be one or the other, can't hunt both sides at the same time.

The late April - early May dates would be ok with me.

How are the pigs on the North side?

The late April would be good. I think because we might beat some of the hunting pressure from the other management hunts or activies they might have. As far as North/South. I've heard North is a harder hunt, steeper canyons. But I have never been there. If we stayed south, well at least after this year, I have an idea where to start

If we hit North what are my chances of having a heart attack? :D

I have heard that the South side is easier to hunt too. The South side also has the hanging A-frame. That A-frame is really nice and makes things much easier unless your name is XDHUTER or Live2Hunt. They bring their own cutting table and the speed (and excellent skill) at which they use those knives, we should bring safety tape to rope off the area so that those of us that are less experienced don't lose an arm or a leg if we get too close :chainsaw:

MMMM, now you have my wheels spinning. There is more than enough time to start saving up money to hunt Tejon twice. Twice in one year i would think I died and went to heaven. Reserve the Early April Dates for the North side and the First week of May for the South side.

Hunted both sides north and south several times. Lots of pigs on both sides. Easy pigs are taken on both sides and difficult pigs are taken on both sides. Its a challenging hunt both sides. Its fun on Tejon period.

What's the price we are looking at? I'm in if it doesn't cost me a leg and an arm. LOL

I'm definitely in! I'd do two hunts as well (cost kinda hurts, but I'll start saving now :) )...

Can't hunt with out arm and leg, so I'll start saving my aluminum cans now only if the price is right. Anything above $400 I'll go couple miles from home and buy my some pork for $150. and save my gas.

Wow. That price equals one of my arms and one of my legs. Count me out LOL. Maybe one day, I'll be able to hang with the BIG boys. Good luck to all of you next year and take lots of pics.
