Wow. That price equals one of my arms and one of my legs. Count me out LOL. Maybe one day, I'll be able to hang with the BIG boys. Good luck to all of you next year and take lots of pics.

I bet if you and I am referring to you as anybody, look at your monthly expenses you will spend more the 450 dollors on things you really do not need. This hunt is 9 months away so all you have to do is take 50 bucks a month and put in in a jar. I really do not think 450 is that high to hunt an awsome ranch with a bunch of good people.

2 hunts sounds good, some guys couldn't come last year because of other commitments. I've hunted the north side, not sure if it's more steeper than south. Both sides are loaded with hogs.

I am sure there is a camping spot on the North side, there is also the cabin we can stay in for an extra cost. I believe it can hold 12 or so people. here is a link

Palladin, I was really pissed about this years hunt, only got big game started like a month before you guys went, didn't have a rifle for lead free(7.62x39 is tough to find), and had plans the wife really did not want me to cancel. To many things to try and wrap up in such a short time.

For next years, I have my Savage 111 in 30.06 and 40 rounds of ttx ready, plenty of time to make plans and plenty of time to save the $$$. So yes I am excited!!!
Oh and dibs on a bottom bunk in the cabin!

Next year will be my first time so I'll probably have to sleep on the floor or something because of seniority or something.

If we did want to stay in the cabin it would be an additional 100 per hunter. Not sure if I would want to pay that much more just for a place to sleep for a few hours.

Jason and I (and some of the guys) only got 3 1/2 hours sleep on Friday night after we went on a wild hog (goose) chase in an attempt to recover a downed hog. The shooter did not know how to use the gps he had along and he said everything looked different at 11:30 @ night. The shooter was sure that we were within a 1/4 mile of where he shot the hog :hog chewing:

Everyone will have to do as they like, but for me the $100.00 will be better spent towards the second hog hunt in May. :smiley_chain_gun_an

Haha, good times. would have been nice to find that pig that night. but from the sounds of where it actually was we may have been out there all night.

Cardio started two months ago when I got my elk tag, only question is can I keep it up for 10 months:hot n sweating:

I'm down for the May hunt in the South, since I'll be tunA fishing in Hawaii the April weekend. I also like the way water works into the hunting. Makes migration patterns a lot easier to predict.
