Oregon Elk hunting info.

Im looking for some info about Oregon elk hunting. I have only hunted CO. (area 11) and came home empty handed. I learned Im not much for open plane type hunting and people I have hunted with said I would like the type of area western Oregon. Im a meat hunter so I don't really worry about the big bulls, I would just like to know a good area for good healthy elk.

I mainly hunt rifle but I don't mind using my bow from a ground blind
